From the moment she set foot in California, things had been going downhill for Meg. When a handsome cop steps in to help, will things get better—or much, much worse? 

When Meg’s dance partner is injured, Mitch agrees to stand in and dance in a competition with her. Even though they just met, sparks fly between the dancer and the LA police officer.

After a night out, Mitch crosses a line—allowing the cop in him to control his behavior—and can’t take his actions back. Hurt, Meg is determined to walk away and not look back. Mitch needs to do something to prove to Meg that he is sorry and wants to be with her.

Will Megan be able to forgive Mitch, and will he understand that being a cop doesn't mean he can use his shield to protect his heart?
