Kate Walker has been writing for Harlequin Presents since 1986. In that time she has written over 50 novels and 2 ‘how to write’ guides – The Straightforward Guide to Writing Romantic Fiction (now in it;'s 3rd edition) and Kate Walker’s 12 Point Guide to Writing Romance (Studymates) which won both Best Book For Writers and Best Writing Reference on CataRomance. In 2005 she wrote the international best selling trilogy, The Alcolar Family, the first book of which, The Twelve Month Mistress was short-listed for Romantic Times Best Presents 2005. Her recent USA release The Italian’s Forced Bride was at #1 on Waldenbooks in February. Kate’s current USA release is The Sicilian’s Red-Hot Revenge (July) which is the second part of the two book Sicilian Brothers mini series. Part one, Sicilian Husband, Blackmailed Bride, was published in April. Kate has two more releases lined up for 2007/2008 and is currently working on her 53rd title.
