I want to build a good working relationship with a critique partner. I offer constructive feedback and will always be honest. In return, I expect the same. I want to receive honest, sometimes brutally so, feedback on my work. Afterall, it's during the writing process I want to hear these things and not via a rejection letter!

If you would like to know a little more about me, please visit my website, where you can read writing articles, my weightloss journal and numurous other tidbits of information about me. You can also read an excerpt of my work.

If I sound as if I'm someone you could work with, please do not hesitate to get in contact with me.

Warm regards

Rebecca

“I could get used to spending my evenings out here.” Frankie opened the screen door to the seventeenth century, grey stone house and walked barefoot across the lush, green lawn. The blades of grass tickled between her toes. She inhaled deeply, her lungs filled to bursting with the crisp, clean highland air. The melody of chirping birds punctuated the early evening. Somewhere in the distance, a dog howled. She swatted at a swarm of midges that buzzed wildly around her head.

She stood next to Scott at the edge of the islet and stared across Loch Affric and soaked up the postcard perfect view of the Five Sisters of Kintail. Here, amongst the glens and wilderness, she finally felt as if she’d come home. After all, the clan Chisholm had been calling these parts “home” for hundreds of years. Yet, the idyllic surroundings couldn’t erase from her memory what had happened all those years ago. Nothing would.
