The name of my completed and "hopefully polished manuscript" is called 'THE UNEXPECTED'. The Unexpected is book # 1 of the romance series 'SOULMATES'. I have several ideas and have started brainstorming book 2, while characters and settings of books to follow are too in the making. Writing is a passion I've had since been was able to hold a pen and my imagination often runs away with me. I love reading mostly romance and paranormal romance with great plots and crazy atmospheres. I need someone who can help inspire me to keep going, show me where I need to tighten my work, where my work needs work, or where I don't explain something good enough. I also have a blog in which I publish 300 words of a serialized fiction each week. My MS is a mix of vampires and the celestial, so if combining the paranormal with certain religious elements bothers you, then you might want to pass.

My strengths are catching inconsistencies in the story, informing writer of my reactions as a reader (good or not so good), and relationship development between main characters. Actually, I'd like to call the critique partner a critique buddy, because real buddies tell it like it is for your own good and you love them for that. Here's the situation. I'm halfway through writing book two in my paranormal series and I'm going to need a merciless critiquer to read it. I'm willing to read your baby in return, of course. Hi, I'm searching for a critiquing partner for my books. I've already published a short story and have already submitted the 1st of a trilogy to my publisher. I generally write a mixture of adventure/ romance with humor usually in an urban setting but with fantasy based characters. I'm looking for someone with a good eye, is honest (not cruel) with their critiques and is easy with giving suggestions to alternate phrasing of words (at times I go brain dead and find myself reusing words). I also tend to use strong language or graphic situations depending on the character so don't be squeamish.

It was a beautiful Thursday evening. The moon slowly rose above the ridge of the old barn, John always promised to have renovated. Hues of orange and pink strewn across the sky indicated that tomorrow would be another very hot day. Beyond those fluffy clouds, I wondered what was going on with the atmosphere.
Eight months of continuous sunshine and intensive heat became unbearable. People were fainting and dying from the sweltering high temperatures, whilst hospitals constructed temporary beds along the corridors to accommodate numerous patients.
The flipside of this was the beachfront scenery, which reminded me of wild life documentaries, but instead of animals was littered with hundreds of sunbathers.

ISO Romantic Suspense CP
I am seeking a critique partner/sounding board for romantic suspense.
