Writing History

Either the headhunters would whack off her head, or the cannibals would boil and eat her. Perhaps, Liz would be slain in a tribal conflict, or in one of the military coups in Africa? Did witch doctors still operate in 1980? Either way, her heart pounded, and hands trembled as she walked toward the travel agency.

Writing Sample

What is it really like in Africa for an American lady? Christian women of all ages are my audiences. This novel is about a young woman’s unique personal experiences and struggles living among the African people in a third world setting.

This is my first novel although I have been writing all of my adult life as a hobby. My goal as a writer is to share the love, forgiveness, grace, mercy and faithfulness of our Lord Jesus Christ, our God as seen through the life of a single lady missionary.

This 70,000 word women’s fiction, Innocent Faith, is based on many real events from my 29 years of missionary experience in West Africa. I have a Bachelor’s degree in theology, a Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing and a Masters of Science.
