Lisa fell in love with Mr. Darcy, at the age of thirteen. Pride & Prejudice had been her first true adventure into the politics of Romance with all its twists and turns and she was hooked! With one story, Jane Austen awakened in Lisa a lasting love of books. From that point on she read anything thrown in her path, continually searching for the same happy ending she had found with Elizabeth and Darcy.
It wasn't long before Lisa discovered Romance novels, and she never looked back. The complexities and nuance of a character's relationship never ceases to fascinate her, and being a history buff, she automatically gravitated towards historicals.
Yet, as much as Lisa had taken pleasure in reading Romance novels, she always possessed a driving ambition to create her own love stories; to fashion a world of her own making, and conceive of her own characters. So, with the loving support of her family, she began writing.
